Pray for Baghdad

Al-Bayaa is a neighborhood that includes various ethnic sects of Iraqi society. It was developed by an Iraqi businessman who, in the 1950s, envisioned a place that could spearhead modernity and inspire future generations. Bayaa is home to a mosque that serves as one of Iraq’s most active places of worship.

Amil was once an area inhabited by mixed sects. However, it became a disputed area after sectarian conflict and the majority of Sunnis fled the neighborhood. This is where Majda, (she was talked about in Day 4) grew up and it is from this neighborhood she and her family had to flee. 

Pray for:  Pray for women to know their value and be blessed by the comfort of knowing God cherishes them.
