Pray for Baghdad

Jadriyah Is an upper class neighborhood that is at the far tip of the peninsula where the Tigris makes a turn as it runs through the city. The University of Baghdad is located in Jadriyah and is the oldest university in Iraq, as well as ranked the best in the country. Jadriyah abuts Karada to the east along the peninsula and is also home to one of Saddam Hussein’s many palaces, the As-Salam palace. Many of the students in the city are studying and hoping for a better life, but are searching in worldly places. 

Pray for:  Many are traumatized from previous wars and conflicts and are struggling with depression and despair. Pray they would know the God of Hope and have that outlook on their futures.
